SS White Announces New Products at Chicago Mid-Winter

Posted by dentalinsider on February 23, 2007

SS White has announced a couple of new products at the Chicago Mid-Winter meeting this week. Here are the press releases:

Friction Grip Carbide 330M

We are pleased to announce the introduction of SS White’s Friction Grip Carbide 330M Pear shaped bur.

As you are aware, there is a difference in the dimensions of the 330 Midwest (MW) and the SS White 330 carbide bur. We now manufacture a FG 330 pear shaped bur (330M), which should satisfy those doctors who prefer the MW version.

The 330M has a head length, which is midway between our 330 and our 330L burs. The 330M also exhibits more of a back taper (pear shape) than our standard 330. This is an important addition to our operatory carbide line, since the FG 330 from Midwest is their #1 selling shape. SS White’s FG 330M is currently available for shipping.

Inlay / Onlay Technique Kit

We are pleased to announce the introduction of SS White’s Inlay / Onlay Kit for use in the preparation and finishing of inlay / onlay restorations.

This kit contains a selection of preparation and finishing diamonds and carbide burs for inlay / onlay restorations. Designed for optimal preparation and final adjustment of resin or ceramic esthetic inlay / onlay restorations. The kit contains four preparation instruments, two occlusal adjustment/finishing burs and four margin/interproximal instruments all contained in an autoclavable bur block.

The Inlay / Onlay Kit is currently available for shipping.
You can download the Technique Guide here.
