Tri-County Dental Not For Sale

Posted by dentalinsider on February 19, 2007

Back in January we reported that there were rumblings in the industry that Sullivan-Schein was looking to purchase one of the remaining independent dental dealers in Southern California. One of those mentioned was Tri-County Dental. We received an email with a press release stating that they were not for sale. Here is a copy of the press release:

Dear Doctors,

How are you today? Recently we have received calls from our customers who want to know whether the rumor about our company has been acquired by a leading dental supplier in the US is true or not.

We want to sincerely tell you that this rumor is unfounded and Tricounty Dental Supply has no intention to sell its business whatsoever.

We at Tricounty Dental Supply are proud of what we do and take pride in supplying high quality dental supplies and equipment with good service at very competitive prices. We intend to continue our effort wholeheartedly.

Meanwhile, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your faithful support to our Tricounty Dental Supply’s business. The only thing we want to say to you for your support is this: We will try harder to service you better.

So glad to see your press release! Now, more than ever this industry needs the independent dealer. It’s guys like you that built this great country, one small business at a time. Keep up the good work.
