X Ray Correction

I received an email today from Rick Lindquist regarding the post on the old Ritter X Ray that I replaced last weekend. Here is what Rick had to say:

“That pic you posted looks like it was from a Ritter Mae West, so named for the large “hips” where the replaceable xray tube is installed.
Yep that’s right, on that particular machine you could change out the xray tube in the field! Pretty cool, I would guess 30s or 40s tho not 50s.”

I did another google search and came up with a few pictures of this unit.

Rick, Thank you for the info…I stand corrected.
